Description: Dancing With the Stars Workout DVD features three of the TV reality show’s pro dancers. They teach you four different dance routines that will help tone up your body while having fun.
Review: If you like to dance and know some of the basic dance moves this DVD is just for you. Professional dancers from the TV show Dancing with the Stars show you dance steps that you think only the pros can do.
These dances include the cha-cha, the jive, the samba and the paso doble. The routines are fun to watch and learn. Best of all these types of dances are great for toning up your body, especially the waste and hips.
There is a five-minute warm up at the beginning of the DVD. Warm ups are necessary in any type of exercise, even dancing. This will help limber your body so you can do the moves these dances entail. It’s slow and easy to follow.
Each dance session is a total of ten minutes. The dance moves are quick and there are a lot of dance terms that some may not be familiar with. Take your time and don’t give up. If I can learn these moves anyone can.
There is also a ten-minute session where everybody can do his or her own thing. The dancers in the DVD have a lot of fun in this area and so do I. I just practice the steps I’ve been trying to get down in the other sessions and have a good time just messing around.
The five-minute cool down is a must also. Just like warming up, you need to cool down your muscles after a workout like this. Strenuous exercise of any kind can be damaging if you don’t work those muscles up to speed and then take them back down again. I always do the warm up and cool down no matter which segment I’m going to do.
If you want to learn some new dance steps, get a great cardio and physical workout, trim that waist and those hips and have a lot of fun doing it then try this DVD out. I enjoy it and the workout I get every time I put in the player. So go cut a rug, get in shape and have some fun.
